TITAN Cement Group is looking for a high-caliber professional to assume the Trading Manager position.

The job holder will be responsible for creating and consistently cultivating solid commercial relationships with the internal and external stakeholders of the Group in buying and selling strategic materials such as cement, clinker, and particularly SCM (Supplementary Cementitious Materials) and /or other raw materials.

A significant aspect of the role will be to identify and evaluate opportunities to grow the business by entering new markets, cross-selling and adopting new products and technologies in present markets.


The position is part of the Group Supply Chain team, based in Athens, Greece.


Principal Accountabilities

  • Develop and manage a network of internal and external customers and business partners
  • Contribute to ad hoc Projects Planning & Implementation for Group Strategy
  • Connect with the market participants for commercial business development projects in the SCM area and other new low carbon building materials development
  • Handle third-party sourcing for materials as per needs
  • Consolidate and manage resources and expertise from various departments
  • Liaise and inform Business Units, where applicable, in close cooperation with the appropriate stakeholders
  • Lead small cross functional teams for project implementation
  • Maximize volume and ROIC with third party customers
  • Lead Due Diligence and acquisitions projects
  • Build and share expertise on investment alternatives for seaborne traded building materials flows
  • Provide analysis for financial planning, preparation & implementation of budget
  • Execute and safeguard the Group Code of Business Conduct and all other Group policies
  • Hold key account management activities


Experience & qualifications

  • MSc in Engineering, Finance or relevant field, or MBA
  • Approx. 5-10 years of commercial working experience
  • Experience in the building materials, construction or heavy industry will be an asset
  • Very good knowledge of PC skills and MS office tools
  • Fluency in both English and Greek (oral and written at professional corporate level)
  • Good understanding of international trade, seaborne trade and logistics
  • Military obligations (where required)
