Mobile Equipment Maintenance Supervisor

Titan Florida LLC is seeking a Mobile Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to work at its Pennsuco Aggregates Division in Medley, Florida. Will be responsible for the supervision of the maintenance related to the mobile equipment fleet and corresponding facilities. Will ensure reliable operations of the existing equipment and systems while ensuring cost-effective maintenance. Will perform the following duties:

· Supervise, assist in planning, and execute all corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance of the mobile equipment fleet (light and heavy duty), fuel and lubrication, mobile equipment garage, and air conditioning. Utilize engineered maintenance programs in order to maximize equipment availability and runtime.

· Perform regular maintenance, inspections, and evaluations of all mobile equipment in conjunction with Linder - Komatsu, Kelly - Caterpillar. Perform light vehicle maintenance and support, fueling and lubrication support, mobile equipment facilities management, and maintenance of HVAC systems. Supervise and oversee internal and external labor and resources.

· Evaluate and implement necessary repairs, upgrades, or enhancements to ensure reliable operation.

· Assist with the implementation and execution of calendar and hourly- based preventive maintenance programs.

· Supervise vendor representatives or employees in maintaining, inspecting and repairing equipment and facilities.

· Acquire and allocate resources (internal and external parts, labor and tools) as required to support planned and unplanned maintenance tasks.

· Maintain and promote strict adherence to all safety rules, regulations, and company policies.

· Supervise and manage the performance of the Maintenance Technicians through coaching, counseling, and communicating job expectations. Engage in technical training and component analysis.

· Train new employees as required and cross-train existing employees to support day-to-day operations and vacancies.

· Maintain equipment in a clean and safe manner. Report all safety and operational concerns.

The Mobile Equipment Maintenance Supervisor position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or an equivalent foreign degree and at least 2 years of engineering experience in a mining or plant maintenance role. Also required:

· Experience in mobile equipment fleet maintenance management.

· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills. Ability to speak, write and read in English. Supervisory experience and strong supervisory skills.

· Demonstrated knowledge of CFR 30 Part 56 regulations. Knowledge of mechanical, welding, service, and lubrication standard practices. Knowledge of heavy equipment.

· Experience with preventive maintenance and maintenance management of mechanical equipment related to mining facilities.

· Excellent computer skills including use of MS Office suite. CMMS experience.

· Demonstrated knowledge of root cause analysis methodology.

· Able to assimilate and embrace change within the operation. Work well with others.

· Safety conscious work ethic always for the protection of self and all others in the work area.

· Basic knowledge and understanding of limestone quarry operations.

· Prior heavy equipment experience in a construction or mining environment.

· Able to speak, hear, walk, kneel, crouch, climb, crawl, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Capable of working in confined spaces.

· Ability to perform assigned tasks properly and in a timely manner.

· Available to work days, nights, and weekends as directed by management.

· Positive attitude to achieve goals and deliver results individually and in a team environment.

· Maintain a current Florida Driver’s License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.

· Travel, if any, less than 10% within the United States.
