Cement Loadout Utility

The Cement Loadout Utility in the Cement Division of the Titan Florida Pennsuco Plant in Medley, FL.  This wage non-exempt position is assigned to the Production Department and will report to the Pack House and/or Cement Loadout Supervisor. The Cement Loadout Utility will provide inspection, lubrication, manual labor, and will address material flow problems to sustain production requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform all required safety checks and follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Daily inspection, lubrication and manual work on all equipment as requested.
• 90% or more of the required work will be in the scale house.
• Complete daily reports on equipment throughout the plant.
• Inspect and keep the equipment, and area being operated, clean and safe.
• Maintain housekeeping of all 4 scales and 4 gangways.
• Respond to Scale House to resolve problems throughout the plant.
• Communicate and maintain decorum over a two-way radio.
• Load rail cars using remote control locomotive.
• Clean rail cars and input billing on a daily basis
• Must safely operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, bobcats, etc.
• Maintain Scales housekeeping and safety initiatives.
• Resolve material flow problems throughout the Cement Scales and Silos.
• Must provide assistance to Mechanics and Electricians as necessary.
• Collect samples from Silos as necessary.
• Must be able to complete daily reports and safety documentation as required.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to speak, read and write in English and Spanish.
• Must be able to create and send e-mails.(optional)
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 94 lbs. and capable of heavy physical labor.
• Ability to work with others and Customers.
• Must be able to work in high places, confined spaces and/or hot environment.
• Safety minded.
• Familiarity with hand and pneumatic tools and systems required.
• Basic computer knowledge MS Office, JWS, Steel Roads, PLC programs.
• Able to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk or hear.
• This job requires you to be on your feet for most of the shift.
• High School diploma or GED; or 3 or more years related experience and/or training.
• High degree of accuracy in a fast paced and multi-task environment.
• Have a current driver’s licenses.

Shift:

[4:00AM-12:00PM],(6:00AM-2:00PM),[12:00PM-8:00PM],(2:00PM-10:00PM),[8:00PM-4:00AM](10:00PM-6:00AM).  Saturday availability required.  Rotating shifts as requested.  Must be able to work weekends and overtime as necessary.
