Titan Florida has an excellent opportunity for a Terminal Manager at its Aggregate Terminal located in Edgewater, FL. This salaried exempt position reports to the Terminal Operations Manager. The primary function of this position is to manage the daily truck loading and rail operations at the terminal.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a safe working environment supporting Titan’s Safety programs.
  • Ensure outbound deliveries of cement and aggregates products to meet customer schedules.
  • Schedule inbound deliveries of aggregates and cement products to maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Set terminal personnel work schedules to optimize operating efficiencies and provide the maximum level of customer service.
  • Manage performance of terminal personnel and administer discipline as appropriate.
  • Operate the terminal within budgeted cost constraints.
  • Provide guidance and training to terminal personnel as required.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports in a timely manner.
  • Maintain plant and equipment for proper performance and safety.
  • Traveling approximately 10% of time to support the Manager of Terminal Operations.
  • Manage Capital projects when required.
  • Establish and update site specific standard operating procedures
  • Ensure state and local compliance by complying with permitting and zoning requirements.
  • Establish and maintain quality control program.
  • Liaise with customers, sales staff, vendor, and community as necessary to promote Company and facility.
  • Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training and retention of terminal team members.
  • Ensure prompt reporting and resolution of outages or disruption of supply chain.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree preferred.
  • 5 years’ experience, preferably in bulk construction materials operations.
  • Experience and knowledge of aggregate and cement handling systems.
  • Experience in construction process, preferred.
  • Inventory management knowledge.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of SAP software applications.
