TITAN Greece has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for our plant in Kamari. The position reports to the Mechanical Department Manager. The primary scope of this role is to oversee several projects and coordinate the maintenance works as necessary for maximum efficiency.

 

Main Responsibilities

 

  • Supervise the execution of work orders ensuring safety, quality, and timeliness of work
  • Effectively leverage mechanical contractors to ensure cost-effective execution of mechanical works.
  • Assign employees as necessary to maximize the availability of production equipment and efficiency
  • Establish effective collaboration with other services to enhance the Plant’s ability to produce the quantities required
  • Participate in the planning and execution of new projects in cement production, from conceptualization to completion.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Plan, organize, and schedule mechanical maintenance inspections, assessments, and evaluations including spare part audits
  • Stay abreast of daily information related to maintenance and production issues at the plant
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations
  • Make recommendations for improvements and elaborate execution plan
  • Ensure cost control by presenting alternative solutions in the execution of daily tasks
  • Conduct periodic safety and informational meetings with employees as needed

 

 

Candidate Profile

 

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a Polytechnic School
  • 5+ years of working experience in a similar position in a manufacturing, industrial or construction setting is required
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices of machinery and other plant equipment
  • Proactive, resourceful, solutions-oriented and results-oriented
  • Able to prioritize work, multi-task, and meet deadlines
  • Communication with internal and external parties in a collaborative, positive manner
  • Critical thinking and creative, problem-solving skills
  • Able to quickly adapt and learn
  • Team player and solid interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills both in Greek & English language
  • Military Service fulfilled (if applicable)
