TITAN Greece has an excellent opportunity for a Sales Representative based in Athens, Greece covering the region of Aegean Islands, Central-South Greece. The Sales Representative manages a customer portfolio for profitability, segment coverage, and growth potential, according to Titan’s procedures and commercial policy. The position reports to the Area Sales Manager.

 

Main Accountabilities 

 

  • Identifies customer needs and proactively promotes TITAN brand
  • Monitors sales per prefecture and customers for whom he/she is responsible within corporate guidelines, to meet sales and service objectives in assigned territory
  • Visits directly his/her clients and follows up on the development of their accounts
  • Maintains strong customer relationships and is proactive in understanding customer needs
  • Maintains a strong grasp of all competitors’ actions, prices, and strategies
  • Develops new customers and leverages relationships to grow customer base
  • Ensures the timely and full collection of customer debts within the framework of corporate credit policy, to protect the company’s interests and minimize financial risk
  • Represents TITAN within local and government authorities as well as community representatives, to contribute to the increase of influence and the promotion of the company’s brand.
  • Operates within TITAN’s safety & environmental policies and best practices
  • Travel requirements within the assigned region: 50% of the time

Candidate Profile

 

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Prior commercial experience required (business development, marketing, sales, channel management)
  • Sales experience in the construction industry (RMX concrete, aggregates, paving etc.)or direct construction experience would be considered an asset
  • Greek native speaker with excellent use of the English language both oral and written Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Innovative thinking and eagerness to implement change
  • Negotiating skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Driving License
  • Military Service fulfilled (if applicable)
