Junior Buyer

TITAN Greece has an excellent opportunity for a Junior Buyer within our Procurement Department for our Head office in Athens, Greece. The primary scope of this role is to support the business by performing purchasing activities focused on the total cost of ownership, working capital, and contract and supplier performance on a 6 month contract.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist in purchasing activities focusing on cost, working capital, and supplier performance
• Communicate with business stakeholders to understand their needs
• Collaborate with Procurement Category Managers/Buyers
• Support within Central Master Data Team the creation and update of master data codification norms, training of team members and end users, proper communication with end users (electronic coding forms), creation/modification of SAP material codes and monitoring of SAP Master Data files
• Develop relationships with suppliers and stay updated on new products and services
• Monitor market changes, competitor prices, and products
• Maintain effective communication with suppliers

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
• Understanding of procurement processes 
• Proficiency in Greek and English
• Strong MS Office skills
• Team player with good interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and make independent decisions
• Solutions-oriented mindset
