Main duties and responsibilities:
- Tests the integrity and performance of business applications and infrastructure.
- Performs periodic system and application reviews to ensure they meet business needs. Coordinates with business heads and take their inputs to improve existing technology solutions;
- Operates and retains Service Desk as single point of contact for all requests and incidents.
- Provides network installations, monitoring and troubleshooting for WAN (wide area network) and LANs (local area network) including Cement plant and remote sites.
- Enhance user onboarding/offboarding by automating the provisioning/deprovisioning of accounts into cloud systems.
- Provision computers, services and software for user onboardings.
- Identify uplift in existing systems, or new systems which can assist in user experience and smoother processes of the enterprise IT team.
- Ensures adherence to information security policies, procedures and standards.
Candidate Qualification:
- Bachelor in Computer Science or relevant field; an advanced degree will be considered a plus.
- 2+ years in a similar position.
- Excellent knowledge of English language
- Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role
- Excellent fault diagnosis and resolution skills.
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
- Good understanding of business processes and supporting business applications.
- Proven, hands on experience in Microsoft server technologies (Active Directory, Exchange, Share Point, etc)
- Previews experience in VMware vSphere: Server Virtualization, will be considered a plus
- Proven, hands on experience in TCP/IP networking and network troubleshooting practices.
- Strong relationship building and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and react positively to frequent changes in priorities.
- Expertise in Office suite, including MS Visio & MS Project
