Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Tests the integrity and performance of business applications and infrastructure.
  • Performs periodic system and application reviews to ensure they meet business needs. Coordinates with business heads and take their inputs to improve existing technology solutions;
  • Operates and retains Service Desk as single point of contact for all requests and incidents.
  • Provides network installations, monitoring and troubleshooting for WAN (wide area network) and LANs (local area network) including Cement plant and remote sites.
  • Enhance user onboarding/offboarding by automating the provisioning/deprovisioning of accounts into cloud systems.
  • Provision computers, services and software for user onboardings.
  • Identify uplift in existing systems, or new systems which can assist in user experience and smoother processes of the enterprise IT team.
  • Ensures adherence to information security policies, procedures and standards.

         

          Candidate Qualification:

  • Bachelor in Computer Science or relevant field; an advanced degree will be considered a plus.
  • 2+ years in a similar position.
  • Excellent knowledge of English language
  • Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role
  • Excellent fault diagnosis and resolution skills.
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
  • Good understanding of business processes and supporting business applications.
  • Proven, hands on experience in Microsoft server technologies (Active Directory, Exchange, Share Point, etc)
  • Previews experience in VMware vSphere: Server Virtualization, will be considered a plus
  • Proven, hands on experience in TCP/IP networking and network troubleshooting practices.
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and react positively to frequent changes in priorities.
  • Expertise in Office suite, including MS Visio & MS Project
